THE CLIENT
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV), a division of Volkswagen Group, is a German manufacturer specializing in light commercial vehicles. It has a rich history dating back to 1947 with the iconic Type 2 Transporter and has evolved to produce a variety of models including vans, pickup trucks, and campervans, focusing on innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
THE ASK
The client came to use with a need for a product film that would showcase the launch of their new Multivan, emphasizing the need for a product video that aligned with their larger content marketing strategy.
The film needed to be grounded and relatable, specifically targeting the everyday needs and interests of craftsmen and handymen. The video should resonate with its intended audience, effectively showcasing the practicality and versatility of the Multivan in a professional setting.
THE SOLUTION
The solution involved creating a Danish product presentation, where Nicolai Løje Farganis, the Marketing Manager, and Klaus Larsen, the Product Manager, showcased the car's features at the City Studio, Rådhuspladsen. To enhance the presentation, dolly shots were used for smooth, dynamic camera movement, while handheld camera techniques added energy and intensity during discussions. Additionally, montages of still photos were incorporated to give the scenes a modern and fast-paced feel.
